Affordable Connectivity Program

We help eligible households save money while staying connected!

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) ensures that all households can receive internet service they need. Free or discounted service on plans when saving up to $30/mo. Up to $75/mo. on qualifying Tribal lands.

Eligibility

Your household qualifies for ACP if you or at least one member of your household participates in any one of the following:

  • Assistance Programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, SSI, WIC or Lifeline.
  • Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Programs, or the school breakfast program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision schools.
  • Tribal Programs, such as Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, Tribal TANF, Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations or Tribal Head Start (income based).
  • Lifeline benefit subscribers automatically qualify.

You also qualify if you have received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year, or have a total household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Savings

Any service plan that includes data is eligible for ACP. If you qualify for ACP, you receive a savings of up to $30/mo. or up to $75/mo. if you live on qualifying Tribal Lands.

Application Process

You can apply online at affordableconnectivity.gov. You may also print the Affordable Connectivity Program Application located here, along with the Household Worksheet.

Once the National Verifier approves your eligibility for the Affordable Connectivity Program, please call us at 800-236-0055 to discuss service or stop into one of our retail locations to discuss the appropriate plan for you.

Important Information

Cellcom is proud to participate in the ACP program that offers internet plans at a discounted rate or free. Internet connection is a necessity for work, school and just to stay connected. The ACP is a government funded program of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and funded by the Investment and Jobs Act.

This program is available for new and existing customers. Available on home internet plans and wireless plans with data.

The benefit is not transferable to other consumers. Only eligible consumers may enroll in the program. Only one benefit is allowed per household and the benefit may only be applied to one service, regardless of provider. Free service with eligible participation in the ACP and on a service package of $30 or less. Additional taxes and fees may apply. If the program is discontinued or you are no longer eligible for the program, regular Cellcom service rates, terms and conditions will apply.
